Homecoming...

This weekend you will find me in my home state of Delaware!  Woohoo!

I will be vending at the Chase Center on the Riverfront along with bunches of other vendors that make up the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen .  I can't wait to get there so I can see all of the amazing work!

Artscape 2010

I survived Artscape !  But I must say I could never have made it through with out my BEST buds!  We took turns manning the tables,  brought tons of food and beverages, and had a good time hanging out!

Despite the insane heat, we managed to have a really fun weekend!  

One of my favorite parts of artscape, besides people watching, is the parade of artcars!  Check out this amazing bug covered in pingpong balls!

 

I managed to escape our booth for a bit and took a few pics of the fun that is Artscape...enjoy!

Funky Cool Patina and Upcoming Events

I have a bunch of new pieces finished up and I love the new patina I get to work with!!!

 It's kind of a minty green, in contrast to the blue-ish patina I had recently. (see below)

Next weekend is Artscape! Starting on Friday, July 16th come down and see all the art and music you can handle!!!  I'll be there with a bunch of my fellow Baltimore crafters through Sunday!

July 31-Aug 1

The last weekend of July will bring me homeward!  I 'll be displaying at the "Pennsylvania Guild's Fine Craft  Show"!!! The show takes place at  the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington  Delaware. You may have seen the billboards along I-95!  Anyway, if you're in the area, stop in and say hi!  I'm one of 7"emerging artists" that were picked to display!   Having only been doing this for almost two years now, I can't believe that I was selected!  I'm sure it will be awesome to see all of the amazing work by all of the master craftsmen in attendance!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that stopped by the shows this past weekend!  Those of you who atttended Pile of Craft, got to meet my wonderful sister in law Susie!  She did a fantastic job of manning the Yummy & Company table and said there were tons of people there!
I ended up down at the Inner Harbor, and had a lovely time vending at the AFTA show.  I got to meet tons of "art advocates" from organizations all over the country!

The new ruffle rings were a huge hit!  

Here, a customer was trying to decide between two of the gigantic, asymetrical ones!

There's something so nice about being near water... the breeze was nice bonus and the crowds were sweet!  Hope you enjoyed yourselves too, and got lots of great handmade goodies!
