More vintage inspired goodies

As I mentioned in previous posts, I've always been inspired and obsessed with old jewelry.  As a kid, my mom used to let me dig into her jewelry box and try on her treasures.  I never could have fathomed then, what would eventually become of this pastime!  Here's a pair of earrings, re-fashioned from some gorgeous rhinestone clip-ons.

p.s. these clip-ons are not from my mom's collection-  I had to hunt for these on my own!

Anyhoo... hope to see you this summer!

Pile of Craft

Pile of Craft is a juried indie/alternative craft fair in the Spring/Summer of each year, organized by Baltimore’s own CHARM CITY CRAFT MAFIA. The whole homemade renaissance has resuscitated the image of crafting — gone is the cliché of your kooky aunt slaving away at a kiln behind the garage, In are the bright colors, bold patterns, and inventive artwork of modern design. With over 45 vendors selling their own hand-made wares out of a beautiful restored church in the awesomely community minded neighborhood of Charles Village (Baltimore) – we’re pulling together one of the most exciting and unique shopping and arts events of the year. Some of Baltimore’s beloved food trucks are on hand to keep us fueled, as well as coffee provided by Red Emma’s Coffeehouse.  It's a great way to spend a summer weekend, meeting your craftyneighbors, chatting with friends, shopping for one-of-a-kind gifts and treasures, and getting inspired. More than anything – SUPPORTING THE ARTS in your community!
